Funky Chili Sauce is one of my favorites and it was a great inspiration for a won ton that can be served in different ways!
Asian cuisine is one of my little pleasures in life.
Servings: 45 won tons
Preparation time: 1h
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of wonton dough
- 1 lb ground pork
- 200 g of Nordic shrimps
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Fresh grated ginger to taste
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of Funky Chili Sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Let the won ton wrappers thaw at room temperature.
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, shrimp, green onions, ginger, 1 egg, funky chili sauce and season to taste.
- On a serving board, spread out the squares of dough and place the stuffing in the center of each square. Be careful not to put too much!
- Beat the remaining egg in a small bowl and using a pastry brush, brush the edges of each dough square with the egg.
- Pinch the 4 corners of the stuffed won ton to close it.
- Cook your won tons on the barbecue using indirect cooking until they are crispy.
- Serve with Funky Chili Sauce for dipping.
