CARNIVORE WRAP

WRAP CARNIVORE

You know me, I love taking on new challenges and getting out of my comfort zone when it comes to BBQ cooking.
So I'm very happy to present to you today my reinvented, 100% carnivore-ish version of the wrap!

A carnivore wrap, how do you make it? It's simple, it takes animal-based ingredients, a BBQ, love and... the desire to eat "carnivore"! Yes, yes, we can say goodbye to fruits and vegetables in this recipe (except for 1 avocado) and finally, live a beautiful delicious experience that "with" meat instead. 🥰 You'll see, it's quite a meal! 😜

Without further ado, here’s how to make this awesome wrap:

Ingredients :

1 lb ground beef

1 avocado

4 tbsp goat cheese

Ghee, for cooking

4 oz cooked chicken, chopped

2 eggs

3 egg whites

2 egg yolks

3 slices bacon, precooked (save bacon fat for recipe)

Ground smoked salt The aces of the smokehouse

Bacon fat

Preparation:

Place a cast iron BBQ baking sheet on the BBQ grill and preheat.

Season the ground beef with several pinches of salt (in my case I put 9, because I eat a lot of protein, so I need a lot of sodium to allow the water in my body to circulate well), then knead the meat with your hands to make sure the salt is evenly distributed over its entire surface.

Form small meat patties with the ground beef and let them grill in the direct cooking zone on the BBQ grills.

In a mixing bowl, add the ground chicken, 1 tsp ground smoked salt, egg whites and whole eggs. Mix until smooth. Set aside.

Spread ghee on the baking sheet and, while waiting for it to melt, turn the beef patties over.

Using a ladle, pour the mixture onto the baking sheet to form a wrap (you can cook more than one on the sheet, depending on whether you want to make a giant one or not) and let it cook. Turn it over when the underside is cooked through.

Finally, chop the bacon slices, then add the pieces to the bowl containing the egg yolks. Then add 2 tablespoons of goat cheese (keep the rest for later) and pour the bacon fat into the bowl. Mix everything together to make a creamy sauce. Set aside.

When the wrap is completely cooked, remove it from the BBQ and place it on a plate to begin assembly.

Thinly slice the avocado and spread the slices on the wrap. Then brush the inside of the wrap with 2 tbsp of goat cheese (or less, to taste).

Remove the meat patties from the BBQ, cut them into strips lengthwise and add them to the wrap.

Drizzle the whole thing with the homemade sauce (it will drip, but that's okay, it adds a touch of personality to this naughty meal), close the two ends of the wrap to hold it like a taco and savor every bite!

Happy BBQ!
