Salad del fuego (Argentinian)

La Salade del fuego (Argentaine)

I have the recipe to make the best salad in the world. This salad is largely inspired by my trip to Argentina. This place that is synonymous with red meat for many is synonymous with cooking on charcoal for me. I learned in Argentina to put all the food directly in the fire in order to cook it. So here is how to easily make the best salad in the world; the salad del fuego (Argentina).

Servings: 4

Preparation time: 5 min (ok + 15 for the hot coal)

Cooking time: 5-10 min

Ingredients :

- Romaine lettuce

- 1 red pepper, 1 orange pepper, 1 yellow pepper

- 2 red onions

- Argentina dry marinade from BBQ Quebec

- California dry marinade from BBQ Quebec

- Avocado oil

- Coriander

Method :

- Heat your charcoal to the maximum, until it is very red.

- Place the peppers, romaine lettuce and onions directly on the charcoal.

- Make sure all vegetables are completely charred.

- Remove the vegetables from the heat and place them in iced water to remove the burnt part.

- Cut the vegetables into pieces and put them in a large bowl.

- Add the California dry marinade and the Argentina dry marinade.

- Add the avocado oil and chopped coriander.

- Mix well and enjoy.

Try this salad and you'll love it. In short, the ideal is to make this salad on hot charcoal, but you can also cook it directly on your gas BBQ. No one will tell you that it's not "manly" to eat vegetables when you're going to "throw" them in the fire to cook them!
