Barbecue poutine to share

Poutine barbecue à partager
What 's better than poutine?
A poutine made on the barbecue, BBQ Québec style!

Servings: 4
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ingredients :
  • 8 large yellow potatoes
  • A drizzle of avocado oil
  • 400 ml of store-bought Poutine sauce
  • 340 g of cheese curds (or more!)
  • 15 slices of bacon
  • Shredded chicken (in my case, leftover beer can chicken)
1- Cut the potatoes into large wedges and place them in a large bowl. Coat them with avocado oil and the California BBQ Québec dry marinade.
2- Then cut the bacon slices in half and roll the bacon around the potato wedges. (There will be about half of the potatoes that will be “pimped” with the bacon).
3- Cook the potatoes in your barbecue using indirect cooking at 400 °F until they are fully cooked and the bacon is crispy.
4- Once cooked, place all the potatoes in the bottom of a frying pan (which can be used on a barbecue) and add the cheese, poutine sauce and shredded chicken.
5- Place everything in an indirect cooking zone for a few minutes, to allow everything to heat up.
6- Add the drizzle of Maple Bourbon sauce once your Poutine is ready to be enjoyed!
