BBQ Potato Gratin

For me, a potato gratin is a comforting dish that goes well with almost any meat! Here is a reinvented gratin that will make you fall in love with traditional cuisine again.

Cooking time: 1 hour 30 minutes


Ingredients :

  • 3 large yellow potatoes
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 2 yellow onions
  • 2/3 cup 15% cream
  • Grated cheese of your choice (I used a mixture of 4 store-bought cheeses here)
  • 1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • California BBQ Quebec dry marinade to taste

Preparation :
  1. Preheat your BBQ to 350 °F .
  2. Slice the onions into rings, peel all the potatoes and cut them into thin slices;
  3. In a small bowl, combine cream, chopped fresh rosemary and sliced ​​onions.
  4. Add California dry rub to cream mixture to taste;
  5. Start the layers of the gratin with potatoes, the cream mixture, the sweet potatoes in the middle and repeat until the gratin is assembled **;
  6. Place a good amount of cheese on top of the gratin as well as California spices!
  7. Cook in your BBQ using indirect cooking for approximately 1:20.
  8. Taste
