A SOLID plancha to discover

The beauty of BBQ is that whether you want to cook a “classic” meal or try something new on the grill, the end result will always be delicious. (Because yes, BBQ food is the best thing in the world!)

So that you can cook whatever you want and allow you to maximize the use of your BBQ, Max decided to create the Plancha BBQ Québec BBQ Accessory . What is it? We tell you all the details here. 😉

Our plancha, as it is called, is a super practical accessory. It will allow you to cook everything, easily, on the barbecue, and this, without you having to work with five different accessories.

More specifically, our plancha is made of 304 stainless steel, which means that it is sturdy, does not rust, does not need to be seasoned before use (i.e. you do not need to add oil or other fat before using it to protect it from corrosion), “heats up” quickly when placed over a burner, and is easy to clean. (Yes, the material of the plancha gives it so many positive points!)

To make it ultra strong, we also made sure to reinforce its underside by adding an "x" section so that its surface is even, that the food stays in place, and that the plancha does not deform. Even if you press very hard on it while making smash burgers, for example, it will then keep its original shape. 😉

We also took care to weld two handles on the sides of the accessory to make it easy to grip and move, and to include a "grease container" section so that cooking juices do not flow into the BBQ and reduce the risk of flashbacks. That way you will never have to deprive yourself of slices of bacon or juicy meats! 👌

This accessory is really useful, because delicate and tough foods can be cooked on it. We've all told ourselves that we would be able to cook asparagus without any problem on the grill, but the truth is that there were always a few that slipped between the grates, and that's frustrating. Smash burgers were also a dream of ours, because we knew very well that we couldn't have the satisfaction of crushing the meatballs on our BBQ without regretting it afterwards (hello undone patties and pieces of meat at the bottom of the grill! 😫). But all that is in the past now! With our plancha, you will be able to cook your ENTIRE brunch on your barbecue! 🤩 Yes, yes! You can cook: eggs, pancakes, bacon slices, onion pieces, fish fillets, steaks, sausages, shrimp, peppers… and this, without problem. The possibilities are endless! 🚀

And, you can go even further! You can make scrambled eggs on it, or crush meatballs to make delicious smash burgers! The griddle is sturdy and the “edge flipping” of the food is done without any problem, so there is no problem in letting your inspiration of the moment guide you. Want to cook a pad thai? Go for it! 🙌

Next, you might be wondering what kind of BBQ you can fit this beautiful accessory into? Well, it is designed to fit into all types of BBQs and can be placed either lengthwise or widthwise on the grill of the appliance. So it really is an accessory that is suitable for everyone (people and BBQs [as long as it fits] 😉).

Finally, once you are ready to enjoy your meal, cleaning the plancha is just as easy as cooking itself: you can simply put it in the dishwasher (it is still better to clean it a little beforehand) or, even, wash it with soap and water, and… that's it!
