Another beautiful day full of promise!
It's already December, a crazy season that transitions from a summer that stretched into November and plunges us into the season of gifts, big comfort meals and an essential winter BBQ as we spend the winter at home in comfortable confinement mode, in pleasure. (Covid-19 can't win everything!)
JP is at home and is preparing for a big project for this winter. Something that we have been planning since August, but that we can't talk about yet. A big punch, Lavoie version. For his part, Max is back from training and is preparing, always in innovation, BBQ Québec 4.0. These two enthusiasts have not finished surprising and amazing us. There's no denying that one thing follows another!
In the BBQ Québec family, we very often have projects that we want to develop, but sometimes we have to be patient. Things are moving very, very quickly here, yes, but never fast enough for our founders. We have to be confident and believe in our partners, our employees, our collaborators… Although they all come with their own challenges, the projects that we want to take on become meaningful and take a big place in our corporate culture. Among these, we do not hide the fact that we are developing certain markets outside Quebec with our House of BBQ Experts ™ brand; even that some places are followed more intensely than others.
As our company has grown, we have managed to hire people in our sales, marketing and procurement departments to work full-time on exporting our products. This is an exciting step for us, especially when you remember that it all started with a dream from a little guy from Saint-Jean-Chrysostôme who assembled BBQs in his parents' hardware store! We continue to move forward on the path we are on while still being impressed by what we can do with our team. The gang around us is pretty hot, thank you!
We have always raised the bar, we are constantly conquering another summit and we do it well with our team, full of people we love very much and who are there 100%. Recently, we took another step: we added to our team a guy who will contribute on the field as a national ambassador.
It is therefore with great pride and confidence in the future that we welcome to our team a friend who really wants to be part of our adventure and contribute to our great dream of changing the world one BBQ at a time: Mathieu Drouin! He joins us as a brand ambassador for Canada, mainly for House of BBQ Experts™. The guy is a solid BBQ guy, known in the industry and appreciated. I had the pleasure of talking with him a lot in the last few months and am convinced that he will be an incredible torchbearer in Canada. If you have the chance to meet him, you will see that he fits perfectly with us.
Our adventures outside Quebec are just beginning, if you love BBQ like we do, stay tuned, we will still have many challenges and victories to share with you!
